Covid-19 - Housing Services Update Sept 2020

New rules mean that you must not make indoor social visits to other households. To stay safe and protect others, please follow these stricter rules now. From 25 September, pubs, bars and restaurants must close at 10pm. Read more about the new measures.

Everyone should remember the FACTS guidance:

F - Face coverings. These should be used in shops and on public transport (buses, trains and taxis)

A - Avoid crowded places.

C - Clean your hands frequently, using water & soap whenever possible.

T - Two metres - observe physical distancing.

S - Self-isolate and book a test if you are suffering from COVID-19 symptoms.

While our offices remain shut, thanks to recent changes in The Scottish Government guidelines with a loosening of key elements of Lock-down, Blackwood can return to fixing non-emergency repairs. In fact a number of small changes and updates have come thanks to Scotland entering Phase 3 which means a return to some of our usual housing services albeit with facemasks and social distancing.

Angela Currie, Operations Director and part of Blackwood's Senior Management Team has created a brief video below with a summary of what is changing, what has changed and what you can expect from Blackwood moving forward.

Please see below the Housing Service Bulletin with information covering the majority of housing services and a handy Repairs Fact Sheet to let you know what to expect and what to do if reporting or expecting a repair.
