We are delighted to announce our Annual General Meeting live event is returning this year!
This is the first live event we have been able to host in over 2 years and we have a lot to celebrate with you in our milestone 50th year.
BLACKWOOD@50 AGM 2022 will be held at the iconic V&A Dundee on Tuesday 13th September 2022 from 11am – 3pm.
The focus of the day is on our blueprint for independent living and what Blackwood plans for the next 50 years to help more people in Scotland live their life to the full. There is so much to explore so come along and demo our healthy gamification app - My Life, get voting in our BDA competition for independent living innovations over the last 50 years, see how robots are already supporting our services, tick something off your #bucketlist or even take part in a live podcast recording!
After our formal AGM, we are absolutely delighted to welcome back special guest, comedian, Britain’s Got Talent Winner and LOST VOICE GUY - LEE RIDLEY! Lee has been busy touring the country with his new show (and new voice) and will be stopping in to entertain us with his hilarious comedy show. Lee is the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid and his unique brand of humour was a smash hit at our 2018 AGM.
