Repairs Pause
Blackwood is committed to helping people live their lives to the full, by providing homes and services that are affordable and accessible.
Recently, we have seen an increase in the number of empty homes we manage and many of them require extensive repairs.
Because of this, we will be pausing our non-emergency repairs service for a short while to help manage the amount of outstanding works. Any non-emergency repairs reported during this time will be subject to a delay of up to 8 weeks.
During this time, we will:
- Carry out emergency repairs, including repairs to heating and hot water systems
- Prepare empty homes for re-letting
- Make changes to improve the customer service you receive
- Carry out tidy up works to our developments such as landscaping and preparing for the winter weather
You can continue to report an emergency repair by calling 0131 317 7227.
You can still report a non-emergency repair during this time by calling 0131 317 7227 or emailing repairs@blackwoodgroup.org.uk. We will keep a record of your request and issue it to one of our contractors after the pause is complete.
