Our Housing Team Leaders are central to our success by managing a local team consisting of Housing/Estate Officers and Housing Assistants to deliver high quality and personalised services to our customers. We are looking for someone who has the passion and commitment and track record of delivering a high standard of services.
This varied role includes traditional housing functions such as voids and allocations, tenancy and estate management, and rent account management as well as ensuring they are delivered within budget. We are looking for someone with a well-developed working knowledge of housing legislation and best practice that will be used to deliver for our customers every day.
The successful candidate will play a major contribution to the delivery of Blackwood’s Housing Strategy and our neighbourhood approach, embedding a digital first culture during an exciting time for the organisation. You shall champion our approach to customer engagement, seeking innovative opportunities to provide value and quality to our customers.
With people management responsibilities, the Housing Team Leader will actively contribute to the Housing team’s personal and professional development to consistently maintain excellent customer service standards, a key deliverable within Blackwood’s Business Plan.
All successful candidates will be required to become a PVG scheme member.
